Gear slots
We wanted to create something that would handle a couple of different roles, with obviously your equipment slots for what we call a "paper doll", which is that display of your character. Eventually it won't just be a image of your character, we hope to have the 3D character and be able to rotate around, look at what you're wearing. And then we wanted to support a couple of different features here, with some base stats; the equipment, which will show what equipment you have available to quick swap, so you don't have to have your inventory and the screen open; detailed stats for those people who want to get into all of the details; and then of course gear sets. So this is going to be able to swap to your sets of gear quickly; and being able to save different loadouts.[5] – Colby Marchi
There are multiple gear slots in Ashes of Creation.[5]
- Artisan gear may be able to be equipped in an "undergarment" slot that can be toggled between adventuring gear and artisan gear.[6]
- Previously it was stated there were 16 gear slots.[7]
Jewelry
Jewelry is a type of Armadura in Ashes of Creation.[8]

Barda de Montarias
Barda de Montarias (também referida como sela) é um tipo de Armadura para Montarias em Ashes of Creation. Bardas de montaria são um conceito similar às armaduras de jogador.[11]
- Quanto maior o nível da barda, mais bonita ela será.[11]
- As bardas terão multiplos componentes que serão equipados. Cada componente melhorará os Stats da montaria, como pontos de vida e velocidade.[12][11]
- Skins de barda só podem ser aplicadas a Montarias com espaço cosmético de barda.[13]
- Skins só poderão ser aplicadas aos itens da barda/sela que forem conseguidos dentro de jogo.[14]
- A aparência das skins de barda pode ser diferente a depender do tipo de montaria.[13]

Attachments are able to be unlocked as flair pieces to armor to create a customizable look.[15]
